AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs is a third-party, internationally-recognized accreditation body.

Our accreditation programs include: Industrial Hygiene, Food, Environmental Lead, Environmental Microbiology, Be Field/Mobile, and Unique Scopes. Accreditation is granted to any laboratory satisfying AIHA LAP, LLC (AIHA LAP) requirements for accreditation. AIHA LAP is proud to be a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and a signatory of the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA).​

Updated AIHA LAP Policy Module 2C, Module 9, and Site Assessment Checklist Released

On November 12, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published new lead dust levels for samples collected in HUD-defined target housing. To continue accreditation compliance with EPA, the updated EPA Laboratory Quality Assurance Requirements (LQSR version 4.0) was incorporated into the Site Assessment Checklist (SA Checklist R24) and effected Policy Modules. The new SA Checklist will be available in your LAP Document Library in DMS and updated Policy Module 2C and Module 9 can be found on Policies and Guidelines webpage.
